Nicole Pacent

Nicole Pacent is a Los Angeles-based actor/singer, originally hailing from Connecticut and New York City. She is best known for her portrayal of ‘Aster’ on the hit web series Anyone But Me, from writer/producer Susan Miller (The L Word and Thirtysomething ) and writer/director Tina Cesa Ward. So far, in the series’ 3 season run, ABM has amassed over 10 million views, has been written about in major publications, including Fast Company and The Los Angeles Times, and can be seen on several sites, including hulu.com, blip.tv, and the series’ home site, anyonebutmeseries.com. The finale is scheduled to be shot in late 2011.

For her work on ABM, Nicole was awarded Best Actress in a Web Series in CherryGrrl.com’s 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards and was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category in the 2010 and 2011 Indie Intertube Awards, Indie Soap Awards, and American Soap World Awards. Nicole was named runner-up for SheWired.com’s 2009 Gay Woman of the Year, was Autostraddle.com’s ‘Miss June’ in their 2011 calendar, has been named one of AfterEllen.com’s Hot 100 for two years running. She also graced the cover of the June 2010 issue of BOUND Magazine, in which she was called ‘the next Angelina Jolie.’

In addition to her on-camera work, Nicole comes from a strong theatrical background, having been raised in theatre, and having earned her BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She’s played such iconic roles as ‘Nina’ in Chekhov’s The Seagull and ‘Beatrice’ in Much Ado About Nothing, and has been seen on several New York stages, including Galapagos Art Space, The Connelly, and The Atlantic. Nicole is also a trained vocalist, having studied opera and musical theatre from the time she was 13, and is currently pursuing the genres closest to her heart, folk and pop rock.

This September marks the premiere of Nicole’s newest series, Space Guys in Space, a futuristic comedy in which she plays G.U.S.S., a holographic A.I. and the lone female companion of the last two remaining humans left on a second-hand escape pod after the Earth explodes. The show is produced by Epic Level Entertainment, whose hit web series, Xombie, has amassed13 million views and counting.
